
Reflections is a wonderful opportunity for students' creativity to be recognized,
which helps to build confidence regardless of the outcome!
We encourage ALL Skyview students to imagine and explore with Reflections!
The Reflections Theme for 2025-26 is
“I Belong!”

Students have the opportunity to create submissions based on this year's theme, in the categories of Visual 2D and 3D Art, Dance, Literature, Music, Photography, and Film Production.
PTA Reflections is a nationally acclaimed student art program. Students of all grades and abilities may participate by submitting original pieces of work in six categories: dance, musical composition, visual arts, film, literature and photography. Each year, students create work based on a theme. This year’s theme is I Belong!.
Judging is based on both the artwork and artist statement, and will be judged at the local level, and may continue to state, and even the National PTA level.
Reflections is so much more than "just an art contest."

A student may submit an entry in any of six arts areas. Only original works of art are accepted. The six art areas are:

In addition to the general Reflections rules above, there are also rules specific to each category.
Entries must meet the criteria written in the guidelines, especially file type/format, length, and size. Students should not have their full names displayed in the art piece.

ELIGIBILITY. The National PTA Accessible Arts Division is an option for students who identify as having a disability and may receive services under IDEA or ADA: Section 504. The division welcomes students of all ages and offers division-specific accommodations to ensure that every student has the chance to participate fully in the program.
Who qualifies as a disabled individual under the law? The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) defines an individual with a disability as a person who: (1) Has a physical or mental impairment that substantially limits one or more of the major life activities of that person; (2) Has a record of such an impairment; or (3) Is regarded as having such impairment.

Photo is to be submitted via the google form and ALSO be turned in to the Skyview Main Office -
please ensure projects are prepared based on Reflections guidelines.
The deadline to submit entries is November 25, 2025.
