Oh my! Oh my! Oh my!
What a Fabulously Fun Night!


Where to even start? The 8th Grade Party was this past Friday night, and it was absolutely phenomenal! The kids had a wonderful night, the massive number of entertainers were top notch, DJ Curt Kruse from STAR 101.5 rocked it all night, and the volunteer committee who put it all together had a vision for the ages. They transformed Skyview into a fabulously fun party!

We can't thank Jen Pirak, Heather Douangpanya, Rich Waters, Jenn Pengelly, Victoria Beam, and Kelly Holliman enough for the hundreds of hours that went into planning this amazing night for the 8th Graders! Without a group of PTSA parents with a vision, this party does not happen. Also, to the MANY parents who volunteered to cover shifts during the party - you are amazing! Thank you for making this party happen. Here are just a few of the photos from the event!

Skyview Middle School

All Skyview 8th Graders are invited to have fun and enjoy fun food, live entertainment, a DJ, games, door prizes, and photo booth!

Did you know we have over 10 professional entertainers performing at this year’s party? Some of these artists have performed in LA, Vegas, and even for Cirque du Soleil.  Bust a move with DJ Curt, play games, watch a movie, or try karaoke. Arrive like a VIP and walk the red carpet through our grand entrance. It will be an action-packed evening full of fun surprises. Get your tickets now! 
 
The slogan “Come as You Are” means an open dress code. You can dress up, dress more casual, whatever you would like or makes you feel the most comfortable.
 

EVENT AGENDA

6:30: Grand Welcome

6:30-10:00: Games, Food, Photo Ops, DJ Curt spinning tunes

6:00-9:45: Variety of live entertainment

7:00-8:45: Movie Viewing – The Greatest Showman

8:45-9:45: Karaoke

TICKETS:
As we hope you have heard, the 8th Grade Party will be on Friday, June 9, from 6:30-10:00 p.m. at Skyview. This is going to be a fantastic party that 8th Graders will not want to miss! 

Tickets are now $45. 

We encourage you to visit the link below and sign the parent permission form, buy your student’s ticket, and help your 8th grader get excited to celebrate the closing of their middle school chapter.

Full and partial scholarships are available for those in need. The above link includes all the information needed to request or donate a scholarship.

CHAPERONES:
Would you be able to help set up? Run a pizza, popcorn, taquitos, or samosa station? Another food station? How about monitoring the comings and goings from bathrooms or in the hallways? Dance floor more your vibe?

The 8th Grade Party always needs adult support and presence at the event - and this year is no different. There are lots of different shifts, and most are about 90 minutes. Grab a friend, spouse, or partner and sign up together to run an event or station!
