We are thrilled to share with you the PTSA grants that have been funded so far this year!

We are only able to do this because of donations to our PTSA via our PASS THE HAT campaign. These are items that are NOT in the school budget, so admin/teachers/staff ask PTSA for help. Often, requests are for materials for new student Fun Friday clubs, safety equipment that is not funded by the district, tech that helps teach students, supplies for classrooms (headphones, calculators, storage solutions), etc - OR they are larger things that will have a positive impact on staff & students!

(According to the museum, "Burke Boxes are portable kits featuring museum-quality collection pieces. They include lesson plans and resources that can be tailored to all ages and interests. Our Burke Box titles support classroom curriculum by highlighting the natural world and Washington’s cultural heritage. The Archaeology Burke Box investigates the discipline and practice of archaeology, its integration with community and culture, and how archaeologists learn from the past to inform and compare with the present. All contents inside the box are real archaeological finds common to Washington state. Box concepts and lesson content were written in partnership with the Burke Museum Archaeology Department’s team of researchers.")
