Skyview Roundtable Discussion

Current Skyview Middle School Parents and Guardians,
We hope this letter finds you well. In an effort to include families and caregivers in our Skyview community, we are inviting you to a round table discussion and to showcase our integrated Science and Social Studies classes in 6th grade. Our goal is to share our perspective gained through experience in the classroom, and also to listen to your valuable insights and respond to questions.

Currently, our school employs a tracking system in 7th and 8th that divides students into two groups: ~50% highly capable and ~50% non-highly capable. We recognize the importance of discussing the implications of this system on our students' learning experiences. The roundtable discussion aims to foster a collaborative environment where we can collectively explore the challenges and benefits associated with our integrated approach in Science and Social Studies.
