We hosted 288 Skyview 8th graders at McMenamins on Friday, May 30, 2025, to celebrate the end of their middle school years with their classmates! What a special evening!
The kids danced, enjoyed great food, took more pictures than we could count, and played games!
They had so much fun!
Thank you to the 19 families who donated DONUTS!
It made for a beautiful (and delicious) dessert table!
We also want to thank the approximately 40 volunteers who helped on Friday night to set up the party, work the event, and/or clean up the party. We couldn't have done it without you. (Special shout out to the Skyview admin, teachers & staff who attended!)
What a great class and we wish them well as they enter high school!

We are excited for the 2025 Skyview 8th Grade Party, hosted by Skyview PTSA! Here are the details:
This party is a fabulous way for all Skyview 8th graders to celebrate the closing of their middle school years and kick start high school.
Volunteer Signup:
We rely on volunteers to help make sure everyone at the 8th Grade Party has fun and stays safe. Please sign up today to help ensure this is a great party! As a reminder, all volunteers (at the party) must have a current NSD background check on file - please click here to complete yours today (don't delay - end of school year events slow down volunteer approvals, so submit your background check soon!).
Dessert Donations:
The 8th grade class voted to have DONUTS as dessert at the party this year! Sign up today to donate store bought donuts. Please note that donut donations can be dropped off at the school MAIN office on Friday, May 30, 7am-noon.
About this Event:
The Skyview 8th Grade Party will include great food, a DJ and other fun entertainment, photo booth opportunities, indoor and outdoor games such as corn hole, big Jenga, and more. It's a time for students to be with their 8th grade friends, play games, dance, enjoy yummy food, take pictures, and make memories. Since most of the kids use a phone as their camera, we will allow phones.
Attire:
The attire for the party is feel your best, and all students have the freedom to decide what feel your best means to them. Some kids might be excited to get their first fancy dress or collared shirt, and others might be more comfortable choosing something out of their closet that makes them feel great.
