THANK YOU!

Huge thanks to all the Skyview PTSA members who attended the meeting.
To get the business of the PTSA done during General Membership meetings, we must have enough members present to make a quorum.
May is a SUPER busy time, so we VERY much appreciate those who were able to attend!

And special thanks to Shelby Reynolds, from NSD, for presenting about AI in NSD.
We are planning to invite her to visit Skyview again in the fall to present an updated AI in NSD presentation. Please keep watch for that - as it directly affects ALL our kids!

    • AI in NSD: Promises and Pitfalls

      • Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming the world around us—and it’s making its way into our classrooms. Join us for an engaging presentation on how our schools are thoughtfully exploring the potential of AI to enhance teaching and learning while keeping student well-being and safety at the center. We’ll discuss the exciting promises of AI, such as personalized learning and increased efficiency, as well as the challenges it presents, including concerns about data privacy, misinformation, and over-reliance on technology.

      • This session will highlight how we are modeling the ethical use of AI for students and staff, and how we are building students’ AI literacy to help them become critical thinkers, responsible digital citizens, and future-ready learners. Parents will leave with a better understanding of how AI is being integrated into education—and how they can support their children in navigating this emerging landscape.

Everyone is welcome!
